We support NGOs, community-based organizations, and policy-makers in creating science-backed & nature-based regenerative strategies rooted in Agro-Ecology and community resilience
Our process...
We work closely with communities and smallholder farmers to restore ecosystems, improve food security, and build long-term resilience. We help organizations ensure that funding is used ethically and effectively, aligning agro-ecological principles with social equity, local bio-cultural knowledge, and participatory processes.
1. Data Collection
Biocultural, agro-ecological, hydrological data collection, clarifying project goals and vision
2. Resource Assessment
Participatory, community-led resource & needs assessment
3. Agro-Ecosystem Health Assessment & Site Analysis
Assessing agro-ecosystem health and resilience of the farmer, region, or organization; analysis of the agro-ecological & hydrological aspects of the site, watershed, or project. Potentially performing test slices for water harvesting earthworks
4. Training of Trainers
Throughout most projects we seek to work with, train, or mentor local experts & stakeholders to ensure project resilience and longevity, and to decrease dependency on external inputs
5. Concept Plan
Concept Plan, suggestions, phasing, implementation & project support; contracting, project management, and stakeholder facilitation if necessary
